We’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily halt all fishing at Spring Lea Fishery due to the current high water temperatures, low water levels and reduced oxygen levels.
This step is necessary to ensure the wellbeing of our fish, particularly species like carp, which are highly susceptible to stress and illness in warmer conditions.
We understand this may disrupt plans for many of our anglers, and we truly appreciate your patience during this time. The health of our fish and the long-term sustainability of the fishery are our top priorities.
We’ll reopen the fishery as soon as it’s safe to do so.
